Suction

We’ll start with suction, which is one of the very important considerations when choosing a robot vacuum for your home. Both vacuums come with BoostIQ technology that increases suction strength automatically when it reaches a carpet or the other areas that need more intense cleaning.

They also come with two spinning side brushes that sweep dirt from the areas where the main brush won’t be able to reach and bring it to the middle where it will be acted upon by the main brush and the suction.

Although these vacuums are very similar, there is a distinct difference between them when it comes to suction.

RoboVac 15T
This RoboVac is slightly more superior to the 15C in that its motor can develop more suction. This robot vacuum is capable of developing an incredible 1,500 Pascals of suction when the need for strong suction arises. This means that no matter how stubborn a stain is, this strong suction together with agitation from the tough main brush, will be able to pick it up and leave you with a clean floor.

RoboVac 15C
This RoboVac is only able to develop 1,300 Pascals of suction in Max Mode. Although it comes with slightly lower suction levels, it is still quite effective in picking up most dirt and debris. Unless you are dealing with dirt that is very strongly embedded on your hard floor or within your carpet fibers, you will rarely need these extreme levels of suction.

With that said, it is still nice to have the option of the extra suction for those one-off stains that you can’t pick up easily.

Filtration and Dust Bin Capacity

Like many other areas, there is no significant difference between these two vacuums here. They both come with a 0.6-liter dust bin that can comfortably hold about 20 ounces of dirt before you have to make a trip to the trash can to empty. This bin is easy to remove and empty, and you can wash it easily in running water to get rid of the fine dirt particles.

When it comes to filtration, the two RoboVacs also come with the same type of filter. This filter is a triple layer filter that passes air through three stages to remove the finest particles before the air is released back into your home.

The dirt is first passed through a dual-layer filter that gets rid of most of the particles before it is passed to the third stage that is comprised of a high-performance filter that will take care of all the fine particles that were missed by the first two stages.

Battery Performance

The battery is another vital part of a robot vacuum so let’s take a look at how these RoboVacs perform. Again, Eufy decided to use the same battery on these two robot vacuums so the performance is pretty close for both of them.

From a full charge, both these vacuums will be able to give you up to 100 minutes of cleaning time. When compared to most other vacuums in the same budget range, the battery life in these vacuums is exceptional, making these vacuums a great value for money.

Design

Now that we have established how each of these vacuums performs let’s find out how they fare from an aesthetics point of view.

Robovac 15T
When placed side by side, this RoboVac looks a bit more elegant than the 15C. It has more options in the touch control panel on the top face of the robot when compared to the 15C. The blue LED backlight on the three control options will allow you to start cleaning in the auto mode, start a spot cleaning cycle or send the robot vacuum to the charging dock.

Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 15T Review

Surrounding the touch control panel is the tempered glass top cover that is resistant to scratches so you can rest assured that even if it rubs against furniture as it tries to squeeze into tight spots, the overall premium design will not be compromised by ugly scratches.

With that said, the most impressive aspect of this robot’s design is the way Eufy engineers managed to fit everything in a compact but functional package that’s only 2.85 inches tall. This does wonders to the robot’s maneuverability because it will be able to fit in areas where you would have been forced to move furniture to access.

Robovac 15C
Like the RoboVac 15T, this robot vacuum also comes with an elegant overall design that is complemented by premium finish using scratch-free tempered glass that gives the top surface anti-scratch properties. This top face also has a power button and a Wi-Fi indicator light to tell you the status of the connection from a glance.

It’s also 2.85 inches tall to ensure that you’ll have no trouble when you send it to vacuum in tight spaces like under the couch. Apart from the power button and the Wi-Fi status indicator light, there are no other control options on the top face so you will have to use the smartphone app, voice control or the included remote control for all other tasks.

Conclusion

These two robots are very similar in both appearance and the features they come equipped with. However, the RoboVac 15T delivers stronger suction and looks a bit more elegant. It also comes with a slightly higher price tag so it is the ideal choice if you are going to be dealing with more stubborn stains that will require the extra suction strength. Otherwise, the cheaper Eufy 15C should be sufficient.
