In the past years, robotic vacuums have become increasingly sophisticated. Some people have even gone as far as terming them as unnecessarily complicated.
However, Yeedi K600 is designed for folks who want something simple to operate that’s effective. Just like many other robot vacuums, it’s a circular, black device with bumpers at the front and detachable dustbin at the rear.
It’s not the most sophisticated robot vacuum in the market, but it gets the job done. That being said, let’s dig in and find out how this robot works, and whether or not it gives value for money.

Design and Ergonomics
For such an affordable robot vacuum, it’s surprising that aesthetics are just as excellent as many other premium top tier models. It takes a thin circular shape that allows it to go through even smaller openings when cleaning.
It has a single button at the top which activates auto cleaning. To make it even more elegant, this robot’s top face also comes with anti-scratch tempered glass that will keep it looking new even after years of use.
This vacuum has two spinning brush on each side used to sweep dirt into the path of the main brush and suction port. It contains a pair of drive wheels and an omnidirectional support wheel that enables the vacuum to move around over different surfaces.
Other items in the box include an AC power adapter, a remote, a charging dock, and a multi-function cleaning tool.

Performance
Yeedi K600 is very simple to operate, you just need to press the button on top of the vacuum or use the remote when you want to start cleaning. It has three cleaning modes: Auto, Edge, and Spot Modes. Auto Mode is the most commonly used for general cleaning.
In Auto Mode, the robot just moves around the room cleaning the entire floor surface. You activate it by pressing the single button on the vacuum or the play/pause button on the remote. There other two modes are Edge and Spot Modes that can only be started from the remote.
Edge Mode will move the vacuum along the room’s perimeter cleaning the edges while Spot Mode concentrates on a smaller area. To get even more control over where the robot cleans, you can manually steer the vacuum as you wish using the four directional buttons on the remote.
When it comes to the suction, this robot vacuum has been rated to achieve a maximum of 1500Pa. Granted, some robots come with higher suction strength, but this vacuum still seems to get the job done on most surfaces. On a normal vacuuming run it operates on lower suction that you can step up by pressing the play/pause button twice when cleaning a particularly difficult spot.
Battery Performance and Charging Time
The K600 uses a lithium-ion battery with a 2600 mAh specification. This battery will effortlessly power the robot for up to 110 minutes which is more than sufficient for cleaning large rooms. However, this runtime is probably going to go down if you clean using the highest suction setting.
It takes close to four hours to charge the device and will automatically detect when the battery goes low and find its way to the charging dock. This way, it will always be ready whenever you need it.
Conclusion
Yeedi K600 offers a solution to most vacuuming needs at a very low price. It is a great choice for you if you are looking for an affordable device that is easy to control and capable of picking up dirt and debris from most surfaces. It however lacks some of the bells and whistles you’d expect to find in the more sophisticated high-end models.
