The sleek design of this device is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. At only 2.9 inches high, your robotic vacuum can get under the irritating spaces below cabinets and sofas. Large, sturdy wheels make it easy for this device to move over obstacles, so it never gets stuck on raised doorway ledges between rooms.

OPODEE vs. Roomba Robot Vacuum
Most of us are familiar with iRobot’s line of robotic vacuums. Often at the front of the pack concerning cleaning technology, this offering, the 690 model from their Roomba line, sports several exciting features to enhance your robotic vacuum experience.
Dirt Detect Technology instructs your device to focus on high-traffic areas instead of simply giving the same treatment to the whole house. Cleaning heads automatically adjust the height depending on the pile of the carpet, so each surface is given appropriate attention. Additionally, the iRobot’s offering includes smart home connectivity with Alexa and Google Assistant.
In comparison, the OPODEE seems a little barebone. Even the OPODEE’s handy boundary strips are trumped by the Roomba’s Virtual Wall Barrier, which doesn’t have to be taped to the floor, but simply casts an invisible fence that the Roomba won’t cross. One advantage OPODEE seems to have is its height. The iRobot Roomba 690 robot vacuum stands at 3.6 inches compared to the OPODEE’s 2.9.
If you were excited about the OPODEE’s ability to clean in the spaces under counters and couches, you might want to measure those gaps before committing to the Roomba. Other than that, the Roomba 690 is a superior robotic vacuum, though the difference is often reflected in its list price.
OPODEE vs. Coredy Robot Vacuum
Coredy’s offering is in the same bracket as OPODEE. You’ll see many of the same features: anti-obstacle, anti-drop technology; smart navigation; remote control. But the Coredy Robot Vacuum does have a few differences, as well. For one, the Coredy model offers two additional modes on top of OPODEE’s S-Shape (called Auto) and Edge.
If you work at home and need quiet while the Coredy does its work, you can utilize a low-noise mode to avoid any distracting cleaning sounds. Its other mode is quite practical – Spot cleaning mode will focus on a specific area that requires extra care and attention.
In the area of suction power, the OPODEE wins out with a maximum of 1800Pa to the Coredy’s 1400Pa. This will certainly make a difference the each device’s ability to pick up larger particles. On the other hand, the Coredy offers one completely different functionality – a plug-in water tank (sold separately) gives the device the option to mop your floors as well as vacuum them.
Granted, this is an extra expense, but just the added potential gives this item some extra value. One more small advantage is that the Coredy is 0.2 inches shorter than the OPODEE, so if you have extra low cabinets or couches, you might want to consider this.
Since the main difference between these two models is the suction power, you’ll have to decide what’s best for your needs. Both work well on bare floors and carpets, but the OPODEE might have an edge with larger debris.
OPODEE vs. Amarey Robot Vacuum
The Amarey Robot Vacuum is also in the same bracket as the OPODEE and the Coredy. Like the Coredy, it has a maximum suction power of 1400Pa, and it’s shorter than the OPODEE at only 2.7 inches tall. Also, like these other two, the Amarey makes good use of anti-collision and anti-drop technology, so you don’t have to worry about it falling down the stairs or getting stuck against the ottoman.

Like the Coredy, the Amarey beats the OPODEE in cleaning modes with four different options for a thorough cleaning. Three of them you’ve seen before: Auto (similar to the OPODEE’s S-shape), Edge, and Spot. The fourth brings an interesting variable into the mix.
The Max Vacuum setting musters all the power available to truly go to work on the toughest areas in your home. This may use a little more power than the other modes, but it’s worth it if you’re cleaning an area like a mudroom, hall, or kitchen.
Amarey’s offering is very similar to OPODEE’s. The addition of the Max Vacuum mode is a bonus, but it won’t be necessary for everyone. Again, like the Coredy, the Amarey is slightly shorter, so if you have concerns about specific gaps, you may want to get out your measuring tape.
Suction power is king in the vacuum game, however, so remember that the OPODEE still offers 400Pa more strength than Amarey or Coredy.
OPODEE vs. Eufy RoboVac 11S (Slim)
This robotic vacuum has the lowest suction power out of all the ones we’ve looked at so far. With only 1300Pa of suction, the Eufy 11S (Slim) will get the job done, but perhaps not quite as effective as its competitors. This makes it arguably quieter, but the reduction in efficiency might be a problem for some consumers.
The Eufy 11S has three cleaning modes with which we’re already familiar: Auto, Edge, and Spot. Its fourth cleaning mode is new: Single Room. With this setting, your device will clean only one room and stop after thirty minutes. This can be quite useful for spills and messes that need to be cleaned up outside of your regular vacuuming schedule.
BoostIQ is an interesting technology that automatically senses when a tough spot needs some extra suction power. While this is a great concept, the lack of maximum power means that even with a boost in suction, it doesn’t necessarily manage to hit the same power levels as some of the other devices we’ve examined.
As with the others, you’ll get a remote control that allows you to program your 11S (Slim) with a schedule and to switch modes depending on what kind of mess you’re trying to clean up. When it runs low on batteries, or when it’s done all the cleaning it needs to do, it will also trudge on back to its charger.
At the head of the pack is the iRobot Roomba, without a doubt. It’s superior functionality, and the addition of smart home connectivity makes this the best robotic vacuum all around. It’s worth noting, however, that all these extra features generally result in a higher price.
As for the lower bracket, the last three devices we looked at are very similar in their functionality to the OPODEE. All
three have at least one more mode of operation than the OPODEE, which may or may not be important to you. The OPODEE has more suction power than any of these competitors, however, which arguably makes it the most effective vacuum on the whole. Ultimately, you’ll have to decide what’s important to you depending on your specific situation, but we hope that you have at least an idea of the technical differences between these vacuums, which should help you make your final decision.
